NOTOROIUS BOOTLEGER ARRESTED AND 40 CARTOON OF ILLICIT LIQUOR RECOVERED

With the arrest of accused Kuldeep S/o Rajbir Singh R/o RZ G/219, Gali No. 9, Near DDA Park, Rajnagar, IInd, Palam Colony, South West, Delhi aged 28 years, staff of PS GTB Enclave has recovered 40 cartoons of illicit liquor concealed in a car No. DL-9CM-0224 at Gali No. 6, C Block, Jagat Puri Extn., Delhi.
BRIEF FACTS
On 07.03.16, HC Lalit alongwith Ct. Vipin and Ct. Sanjay while on area patrolling received a secret information regarding supply of illicit liquor in the area. A raiding party comprising SI Gopal Singh, HC Lalit, Ct. Vipin, Ct. Sandeep, Ct. Himanshu, DHG/Ct. Dharmender and DHG/Ct. Amit was constituted under the supervision of SHO/GTB Enclave. The team conducted raid and intercepted Car No. DL-9CM-0224 swift desire and recovered 40 cartoons of illicit liquor. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 132/16 u/s 33 Delhi Excise Act PS GTB Enclave was registered and investigation taken up.
INTERROGATION
            On sustained interrogation, accused disclosed that he used to procure illegal liquor from Haryana and supplies the same in North East Delhi and adjoining areas to earn fast money.  Accused is part of bootlegging syndicate indulged into cross border illegal supply of liquor. 
RECOVERY
40 cartoons of illicit liquor.

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
