Photographs of Delhi Police's Passing Out Parade

Today on 27st March 2015, the combined Passing Out Parade of 7 Probationary Sub- Inspectors, 18 ASIs Finger Print and 42 Constables (Dog Handler) was held at Police Training College, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi. They took the oath in a colorful ceremonial parade after successfully completing their basic training. Shri. Kishan Kumar, Special Commissioner of Police, Training Delhi, took the salute of the marching contingents.
                        During long hard training the trainees were subjected to learn skills required for their trades. SIs are trained in Law, police science, computer application and cyber investigation. ASI finger print have been trained on use of latest equipments in finger printing and proper utilization in police work.

Chief Guest gave away the ‘All Round Best’ trophies to PSI Anjani Kumar for of the PSI batch, ASI Gaurav Sharma (Finger Print)  and  Constable (Dog Handler)  Amrish Khan for the recruit batch.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana), who is an absent BC of PS Narela, a bail jumper, a declared proclaimed offender in 2 murder cases and one case of Arms Act .
