Beadon Pura Muder-Cum-Robbery Solved with the Arrest of 7 Persons : Involvement of Two Local Goldsmiths : A Previous Dacoity Case Also Solved
With
the arrest of seven persons viz. 1) Gopal Krishna @ Kallu, 2) Bablu Mathur, 3)
Ankit Aggarwal, 4) Ajay Jha, 5) Chandan Kumar, 6) Bacchu Bera and 7) Babu Bilel, the Central Distt, Delhi
Police has solved two sensational cases of Beadon Pura area of Karol Bagh that
happened with Goldsmiths:- (1) One case of murder with robbery vide FIR
No. 221/15 u/s 302/394/397/34 IPC dated 04.03.15 and (2) One dacoity case vide
63/15 u/s 395/397 IPC dated 16.01.15 both PS Karol Bagh. Approx 440 gms of gold and one robbed mobile
phone have been recovered from their possession.
On 03/03/15, information was received
at 11.40 PM in PS Karol Bagh about an incident at H. No. 3077 Gali No. 37, Beadon
Pura Karol Bagh in which fire arm was used. Complainant Jayant Ghosh r/o Hoogli, West Bengal was found at the spot and who
stated that he is residing on rent at H. No. 3077, Fourth Floor, Gali No.37,
Beadon Pura, Karol Bagh and works as a goldsmith. He, along with co-workers Subrota Ghosh,
Milan Majhi and one Pradyut was present in the room, doing goldsmith work job, when
suddenly at around 11.15 pm three men entered the room. One, who was tall among
them, immediately shot at Milan Majhi with a pistol and asked the others to
remain quiet. The other two men who were carrying knives tied them with rope
and covered their mouth with a medical tape. They robbed approx 700 gms gold, a
Samsung mobile phone and a purse and fled away. Later Jayant Ghosh freed himself and informed
the police about the incident. A case
FIR No. 221/15 dated 4/3/15 u/s 302/394/397/34 IPC & 27 Arms Act was
registered at PS Karol Bagh and investigation was taken up.
In
an earlier incident, on 16/1/15, one Krishan
Bhuniya r/o West Midnapur, West Bengal stated that he is residing in Beadon
Pura Karol Bagh along with his brother-in-law (Jija) and works as a jewellery
designer at H. No. 3242, Gali no. 30, First Floor, Beadon Pura. On 16/1/15 at about 1.45 am, four persons
entered in his house. One person was carrying knife in his hand and another one
was carrying pistol. They told them to remain quiet or face dire consequences.
They tied him and his other workers with tape & rope and robbed around 1440
gms of gold jewellery/raw gold and fled away. On this a case vide FIR No. 63
u/s 395/397 IPC dated 16/1/15 was lodged at PS Karol Bagh.
Considering the
gravity of the offence, different teams were formed, lead by Inspr. Mahesh
Kumar, SHO/Karol Bagh; Inspr. R.C.Lamba, SHO/Prasad Nagar; Inspr Rajveer Singh,
SHO/Rajendra Nagar; Inspr. Jarnail Singh, SHO/Hauz Qazi; Inspr. Anil Kumar,
SHO/Chandni Mahal and Inspr. Satender
Mohan, Inspr. Special Staff/Central
District under the close and overall supervision of Sh. Abhishek Dhania,
IPS, ACP/Karol Bagh to trap the culprits.
With the help of human
intelligence, leads obtained from CCTV footages and technical surveillance and with
sustained strenuous efforts, one accused Gopal
Krishna @ Kallu (aged 26 years) was apprehended from Bapa Nagar area. On questioning, he confessed to his involvement
in the dacoity of January with his associates. It was also revealed that it was Bablu Mathur who had shot the victim
Milan Majhi with a desi katta in the incident of 4/3/15. On the instance of
Gopal Krishna, accused Bablu and other accomplices were also arrested by the
police team.
On
interrogation of the suspects, it was revealed that Babu Bilel and Bacchu Bera
who are residents of the area of Karol Bagh doing goldsmith work in Beadon Pura
itself, looked for targets and hatched the conspiracy of robbing the jewellery/gold
from other goldsmiths of the area of Karol Bagh. Babu Bilel and Bacchu used to gather the
information about the easy targets. On the information provided by Babu Bilel
and Bacchu, Bablu Mathur, Chandan Kumar,
Gopal Krishna and Sunil had committed
the dacoity at goldsmith Krishan Bhuniya’s place during the month of January,
2015. For further crime, however, Babu
and Bacchu planned to rope in some new persons as they would take less share
from the booty. Accordingly, they hired
Bablu Mathur, the old accomplice who involved two new persons Ankit and Ajay Jha and planned the robbery of 4.3.15. While committing the
crime, Bablu shot Milan Majhi.
Further
investigation is in progress to collect all linking evidence and arrest of an
absconding accused Sunil.
The accused Babu and Bacchu
are local jewelers/goldsmiths and they collected information about easy targets
and then arranged other criminals alongwith arms/knives to execute the plan.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS
1) Gopal Krishna @ Kalu (26) r/o Bapa
Nagar, Delhi has studied up to 4th class. He is unmarried. He has previously also been involved in four
cases of theft, burglary & snatching of P.Ss. Madipur, Pachim Vihar and Mianwali.
2) Bablu Mathur (31) r/o Nangloi is a
matriculate and currently working with his wife as a mehndi designer. He had also started a construction company
which did not work.
3) Ankit Aggarwal (22) r/o Nangloi, Delhi
has studied up to 10th class. He works with his father at a scrap
dealer shop.
4) Ajay Jha (32) r/o Nangloi has studied
up to 10th class. He works as a contractor erecting flex boards. Ankit was also associated with his work.
5) Chandan Kumar (28) r/o Camp No. 4
Nangloi, Delhi has studied up to 12th class. He has previously been
involved in one case of theft of P.S. Defence Colony.
6) Bacchu Bera (26) r/o Hawrah, West
Bengal has studied up to 6th class. He is a goldsmith by profession, having
rooms/workshops in Gali no. 2 and 33 in Beadon Pura.
7) Babu
Bilel (28) r/o Pandav Nagar, Delhi has studied up to 8th class. He is a goldsmith by profession, having
room/workshop in Gali no. 29, Beadon Pura.
