Free Medical Health Check-up Camp Organized on Women's Day

On the occasion of Women’s Day, Special Police Unit for Women and Children (SPUWAC) has organized a free Medical Health Check-up Camp for entire staff of SPUWAC, Counselors, Mediators, School Teachers of Delhi Police Public School, Safdarjung Enclave, Women staff of CAW Cells of South and South East Districts, Counselors of North-East Region, Female Counselors / staff of NGO’s and Female Journalists on 09.03.2015 & 10.03.2015 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm in the premises of this Unit.  The team of Doctors from the following Hospitals attended the camp:-

1.       B.L. Kapoor Hospital, Pusa Road, New Delhi (Team comprising of 5 Doctors and 12 supporting staff including Physician and Dietician)
2.       Kalra Hospital, Kirti Nagar, New Delhi. (Team comprising of 1 Doctor and 4 supporting staff)
3.       Vasan Eye Care, Greater Kailash & Panchsheel Park, New Delhi. (Team comprising of 1 Doctor and 7 supporting staff)
4.       Indian Cancer Society, Shapurjat, New Delhi (Team comprising of 3 Doctors (ENT, Sugreon, Gynae) and 12 supporting staff.  They also brought Mobile Van for Mammography, X-Ray etc.

                                Total 1564 police personnel/peoples got themselves screened in the Medical Checkup on both days.  Hospital wise detail of registration is as under:-

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. MOST WANTED GANGSTER NAMELY GYANENDER @ GADGU REWARDEE OF RS.1 LAC ALONGWITH HIS ASSOCIATE RAJIV DAHIYA @ RAJU ARRESTED

Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana), who is an absent BC of PS Narela, a bail jumper, a declared proclaimed offender in 2 murder cases and one case of Arms Act . At the time of apprehension, both the accused fired on police personnel, however, they were finally overpowered.
