Sensational Kidnapping Cum Murder Case of Vivek Vihar Solved
With the arrest of one
accused Rajnish Mishra a sensational kidnapping case of PS Vivek Vihar had been
solved. On disclosure the accused has confessed to have killed the kidnapped
person. The disclosure led to the recovery of the remains of dead body and clothes
of the deceased from Panipat, Haryana after one month of murder. The accused
arrested is:

Mishra s/o Nand Ram r/o Vill- Dayalpur, PS Madho Tanda, Distt-
Pilibhit,(Uttar Pradesh) Age- 22 years.
One Naresh sahni r/o Jwala nagar, Delhi
was missing since 26/01/15. Next day a case under appropriate section was
registered in PS Vivek Vihar, Delhi on the statements of his wife. She reported
that her husband had gone to Panipat to meet a person whom he had lent some
amount. Efforts were made to trace the
kidnapped person but all in vain. Search was made in Panipat but no clue could
be developed regarding missing person. All the unknown dead bodies in the area
of Panipat and Sonipat were regularly monitored but no such dead body was
recovered.
Taking into account the gravity of
the case, the Special Staff of East District was assigned the task to nab the kidnappers. A team under the leadership of Insp
Manoj Pant comprising of SIs Vinay Yadav, KK Sharma, Arun Sindhu, Kulbir, ASI
Ajaypal, HCs Manoj, Parveen, Bijender, Cts. Deep Chand, Ravinder, Anangpal etc.
was constituted under the overall supervision of Sh. Y.K.Tyagi ACP/Ops.
Surveillance and monitoring was
kept on the activities of the suspected persons. On dated 21.02.15 secret
information was received that one of the kidnapper is in Pilibhit. On this
information a team of Special Staff proceeds to Pilibhit. After three days of
sincere efforts at Pilibhit accused person Rajnish Mishra was located in Vill-
Dayalpur, Pilibhit. The team immediately conducted raid and accused person
Rajnish was apprehended. The accused disclosed his involvement in the
kidnapping and also confessed that kidnapped person Naresh Sahni was killed by
him along with associates on 26/01/15 and dead body was disposed by them in
Panipat. The mobile phone of kidnapped person is recovered from his possession.
The accused was arrested by Special Staff team and on 25/02/15 he was produced
before Hon’ble Court in Karkardooma Courts and was taken on police remand.
Later today dated 26/02/15, the team of Spl Staff and PS Vivek Vihar reached
Panipat and the remains of the dead body i.e. few bones and skull and clothes
of deceased Naresh Sahni are recovered. On the instance of accused persons.
During
interrogation he confessed that in the year 2010 he came from Pilibhit to
Panipat in search of job. He worked as Security Guard in Hand Fab A-Living,
Panipat. He met one Ranjeet Roy r/o Bihar in Panipat
who was his neighbor. Later Ranjeet Roy left work and came in Delhi in November
2014. Accused came in January 2015 to meet Ranjeet Roy in Delhi. In Delhi
Ranjeet Roy introduced accused to Vijay Sahni and Lalit Sahni who were
Ranjeet’s brother in law. They told him that they had taken Rs. 3.5 lacs from
one Naresh Sahni r/o Jwala Nagar, Delhi. They offered to pay him 1.5 lac rupees
if he helped them in killing Naresh Sahni. All four hatched a conspiracy and as
per plan on 26/01/15, accused along with Ranjeet Roy reached Panipat by bus.
Lalit Sahni called Naresh Sahni on mobile and along with him reached Panipat.
Vijay Sahni was waiting for all of them at Ralway Station Panipat. According to
plan they offered tea laced with drugs to Naresh Sahni. Then all of them took
Naresh to a lonely place near railway line, Panipat. There they all hit Naresh
Sahni with bricks and killed him and disposed his dead body in a pit full of
water. He also confessed that on 17/18-02-15 he went to Panipat and found that
dead body of Naresh Sahni is still lying in the pit. He was not paid any amount
by his associates.
