CM Kejriwal must remove Health Minister Satyender Jain
as he is alleged to be involved in purchase of land
through hawala money
Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta today asked CM Arvind Kejriwal to remove the Health Minister Satyender Jain from his Govt. as he has been alleged to have purchased huge stretches of land from the money raised through Hawala between 2011 and 2014. These allegations came to light during the recent income tax investigation.
Leader of Opposition said that it is alleged that Jain and his family members purchased more then 200 bigha of land costing more then 16 crore in Nizampur, Karala, Budanpur and Auchandi in Delhi. These stretches of land are situated near unauthorized colonies. These were purchased in the hope of high profit when these colonies are regularized. He said that since he is alleged to be involved in hawala trade and subsequently purchasing land from hawala money, he should remain outside the Govt. until his name is cleared by the income tax and other Deptts.
Vijender Gupta said that though the land was purchased when he was not in the Govt., it is improper to appoint such a man as Minister who is involved in hawala trade. It is a pointer to the topsy – turvy values of Aam Admi Party. In place of taking action against the guilty Minister, the party is shamelessly making noise about impending arrest of the Health Minister.
