Open Basic Education Programme for Street Children Run by Railway Police



“Open Basic Education Programme” has been running for abandoned/street children in the premises of Railway Police Station H.N. Din since 14.11.2014. It was launched by Railway Police Station H.N. Din for creating awareness amongst the abandoned / street children about health related issues. A Medical Checkup Camp was organized for these children in police station premises on 24.11.2014. Dr. Rakesh Bansal, MD, ESI Hospital, Okhla Phase-II, New Delhi-110020 along with his team conducted the medical checkup. As many as 30 children underwent general medical screening. Besides, Vitamin tablets were also distributed to the children. This programme was possible mainly due to the support of Dr. Rakesh Bansal, MD, ESI Hospital and his team towards giving their best service to these street children.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money. During the course of interaction,Satheesh Nair had shown his Identity Card to this complainant to convince him that he was an IPS officer presently posted in Jaipur, Rajasthan and was expecting his next posting in Delhi. Crime Branch has arrested two dreaded and desperate criminals namely (1) Gyanender @ Gadgu (29 yrs) s/o Mahender r/o Village Mandhothi, Distt. Jhajjar, Haryana, who is wanted in two sensational cases of murder of Haryana including one that of a brutal massacre, one case of attempt to murder of Badli, Delhi and 3 cases of extortion in Delhi & Haryana and (2) Rajeev Dahiya @ Raju (39 yrs) s/o Sukhbir Singh r/o R-95, Gali No. 15 A, Sawtanter Nagar, Narela, Delhi (permanent address-Village Nahari, Distt.
