Dog Stabber Arrested in Green Park Market

 A team of PS Hauz Khas, South District has arrested accused Nakul Mishra, age 24 years r/o Alam Bagh, Lucknow who was indulged in stabbing the dogs in Green Park Market and recovered knife used in commission of crime.

Brief facts :

          On 16.03.16, a complaint was filed by Sh. Gaurav Wadhwa, who runs a cycle shop in Green Park Market stating therein that one unknown person had killed one puppy and stabbed four stray dogs in Green Park Market.  He further mentioned that the entire incident has been captured in the CCTV camera, installed at Gate No. 1, Green Park Metro Station.  In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 273/2016 u/s 428/429 IPC and 11 (1) & 16 (1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960 was registered and investigation taken up.

Investigation :

          In order to arrest the culprit involved in crime, a team comprising Inspr. Ram Phool, SI Naveen, ASI Kartar Singh, ASI Mahavir Singh, HC Sanjeev and Ct. Jitender led by Inspr. Satinder Sangwan, SHO/Hauz Khas under the supervision of Ms. Richa Tomar, ACP/Hauz Khas was formed.

          During investigation, the police team obtained CCTV footage in which the entire incident of dog stabbing was captured.  On minute analyze of CCTV footage, photograph of accused was extracted and shown to all the shopkeepers, their staff, nearby residents to get the accused identified.  Also, all the hotels and guest house of the locality were checked to trace the accused but all in vain.  The police team continued its hard work and geared up their resources to get any clues about the accused.  The hard work of them yielded results and on 12.04.16, specific input was received that a person namely Nakul Mishra who was earlier residing in Yusuf Sarai, Green Park might be involved in the crime.  The information was further developed which revealed that Nakul Mishra is presently residing in Alam Bagh, Lucknow, UP.  Immediately, the police team was dispatched for Lucknow and intensive hunt for Nakul Mishra was made.  Finally, Nakul Mishra was traced who along with his parents came to Delhi and joined the investigation.

Interrogation :

          During interrogation, Nakul Mishra confessed to have stabbed the dogs in Green Park Market.  At his instance, knife used in commission of crime and clothes worn by him at that time were recovered from his rented room in Mayur Vihar, Delhi.

Profile of accused :

          Nakul Mishra, age 24 years r/o Alam Bagh, Lucknow is B. Tech (Civil) from a prestigious institute in Noida.  He is preparing for M. Tech entrance.  He is unmarried and is only son of his parents. 

Recovery :

1.   Knife used in commission of crime.
2.   Clothes worn at the time of commission of crime.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi.
