North Delhi Municipal Corporation fined eight parking contractors



North Delhi Municipal Corporation fined eight parking contractors for twelve sites in Karol Bagh Zone with penalty of Rs. 5.52 laks for violations in managing the parking lots.

During the inspection, it was found that contractors were not complying with the terms and conditions of the contract. The parking did not have proper demarcation with yellow paint for allotted parking area, parking staff was not wearing uniforms and parking fee receipt were not issued through hand handled devices.

it is informed that the issue of irregularities in parking lots was raised continuously since last two meetings in the Standing Committee and the Chairman, Mr. Mohan Bhardwaj had directed to take stern action against violators of terms and conditions of the contract. The issue was raised by Standing Committee member, Mr. Virendra Babbar.

Imposter IPS Officer Arrested; an Academic Who Became a Cheat to Realize His Dream Unfulfilled

A team of Special Cell led by Inspectors Rahul Sawhney and Sanjay Kumar has arrested a cheat who impersonated as an IPS officer to cheat several persons in Delhi. On 23/02/2015,one Kultar Singh,s/o Late Raj Singh, r/o F-10, Gali No.2, Krishna Park, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi who runs a shop dealing with sale purchase of mobile phones in Gaffar Market of Karolbagh, Delhi made a complaint stating therein that a person in the name of ‘Satheesh Nair’ who had introduced himself as an IPS officer of Jaipur, Rajasthan, had come to his shop on 30/01/2015 and had purchased two mobile phones in exchange of two old phones by paying an amount of money.
